Designer Spotlight- Jacquelyn Clark of Lark and Linen

I wanted to share with you guys one of my favorite interior designers/bloggers! I found Jacquelyn Clark of Lark and Linen’s blog last summer when I was looking for inspiration for home decor. App Crush- Houzz

I wanted to talk about my favorite interior design app! If you have not heard of Houzz, it is a website and online community about architecture, interior design and decorating, landscape design and home improvement. The website and app feature millions of pictures, articles, tips, user forums, product recommendations and more. It is basically an online platform containing everything you need to redecorate/renovate your home. I referred to it constantly during our home renovation!

Design Inspo.- Muskoka Living

Based in Port Carling, Ontario, Muskoka Living Interiors perfectly capture the essence of “casual coastal-inspired living”. I find all of their work to be drool-worthy because it reminds me so much of style in the Hamptons, which I am quite fond of! I also love the way they mix so many different finishes and textures seamlessly. The rooms are all very warm and inviting thanks to the use of plaids, wicker, and plenty of white flowers.

Designer Spotlight- Chip & Joanna Gaines

Chip and Joanna Gaines are both a huge inspiration to me when it comes to design,  family, and lifestyle. They are so great at incorporating special elements that mean something to their clients while retaining their own aesthetic. I love how they both see the beauty in homes and aim to restore and renew them rather than just gutting and modernizing. Jo never fails to design spaces that feel warm and inviting from the second you walk in the door.
